چکیده
Background: Helicobacter pylori has caused gastritis leading to bleeding and iron deficiency anemia. H-pylori eradication results in better response oral treatment. Aim: To determine the frequency of improvement refractory anemia after successful H-pylori. Study design: Descriptive, case series. Methodology: Patients (n=89) anemia, 15-55 years either gender were included. After this taking relevant history, urea breath test was done for H-Pylori. this, 10 days PPI, bismuth, tetracycline nitromidazole given positive patients. Improvement noted 3 months therapy. SPSS v.26 analyzed data. Mean standard deviation calculated age, duration BMI. Stratification with respect Post stratification Chi-Squire applied P-value ≤0.05 taken as significant. Results: age 35.90 ± 9.89 years. h found 54 (60.67%) patients, whereas there no 35 (39.33%) Practical Implication: This study provided local stats problem helped clinicians design a protocol H these particular patients thus improving IDA. Conclusion: It concluded that very high. Keywords: H-Pylori, Eradication Refractory Iron Deficiency Anemia.

Refractory iron deficiency anemia and Helicobacter Pylori Infection in pediatrics: A review
Background Since the discovery of Helicobacter pylori, several clinical reports have demonstrated that H. Pylori infection has emerged as a new cause of refractory iron stores in children. We carried out a systematic literature review to primarily evaluate the existing evidence on the association between childhood H. Pylori infection and iron deficiency anemia (IDA) and secondly, to investigat...
متن کاملIron refractory iron deficiency anemia.
Iron refractory iron deficiency anemia is a hereditary recessive anemia due to a defect in the TMPRSS6 gene encoding Matriptase-2. This protein is a transmembrane serine protease that plays an essential role in down-regulating hepcidin, the key regulator of iron homeostasis. Hallmarks of this disease are microcytic hypochromic anemia, low transferrin saturation and normal/high serum hepcidin va...
متن کاملIron-Refractory Iron Deficiency Anemia
Iron is essential for life because it is indispensable for several biological reactions, such as oxygen transport, DNA synthesis, and cell proliferation. Over the past few years, our understanding of iron metabolism and its regulation has changed dramatically. New disorders of iron metabolism have emerged, and the role of iron as a cofactor in other disorders has begun to be recognized. The stu...
متن کاملEvaluation of Iron deficiency anemia and BMI in children suffering from Helicobacter pylori infection
Background Recent studies suggest an association between H. pylori infection and disorders such as iron deficiency anemia and growth delay. Considering the high prevalence of H. pylori infection and iron deficiency anemia, this study was performed in order to evaluate their relevance in children undergoing an upper endoscopy. Materials and Methods In this case-control study, children aged 2...
متن کاملRole of autoimmune gastritis, Helicobacter pylori and celiac disease in refractory or unexplained iron deficiency anemia.
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES Conventional endoscopic and radiographic methods fail to identify a probable source of gastrointestinal blood loss in about one third of males and post-menopausal females and in most women of reproductive age with iron deficiency anemia (IDA). Such patients, as well as subjects refractory to oral iron treatment, are often referred for hematologic evaluation. DESIGN A...
